When booking a consultation with Polly’s Little Angels, the Client agrees to these Terms of Service:

 

In these Terms of Service 'we', 'us' and 'our' refers to "Polly’s Little Angels".

 

“Client” and "I" means any person or entity engaging Polly’s Little Angels for their services as discussed in these Terms of Service.

 

General

The Client agrees to follow safe sleep practices in line with SIDS recommendations as recommended by the American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP), which are:

• Back sleeping only - the child must be placed on their back to sleep.

• Hanky size comforter (ideally only from 12 months).

• No blankets, cot bumpers or loose bedding - the sleep space should only have a mattress and tightly fitted sheets.

• Room sharing (for 6-12 months)

• No bed sharing

• No smoking/alcohol/drugs

The AAP has recently changed their guidelines on introducing a blanket from 12 months to 18 months. A sleeping bag is recommended to be used prior to 18 months.

The Client understands the safety guidelines for co-sleeping.

The Client will disclose any medical conditions that their child has to Polly’s Little Angels

The Client will not disclose any of the information they receive from Polly’s Little Angels to a third party, without Polly’s Little Angels' prior permission. This includes all documents shared with the clients such as handouts and sleep plans.

Client Acknowledgement​

• The information provided in the sleep intake questionnaire is as accurate as possible to the Client’s knowledge.

• If the Client’s child has a medical condition, my healthcare provider’s approval has been sought before commencing a sleep plan.

• The Client acknowledges it is the Client’s responsibility to rule out any possible medical causes of sleep problems of their child (such as sleep apnoea) as the child who has underlying medical causes of sleep problems may not be suitable to embark on a sleep journey with Polly's Little Angels.

• The Client acknowledges it is the Client’s responsibility to ensure their child is gaining weight, accordingly, thriving and otherwise well before embarking on a sleep journey with Polly's Little Angels.

• The Client acknowledges that Polly’s Little Angels is not able to give medical advice and any questions or concerns that I have regarding my child’s health will be under my health practitioners’ care. A sleep plan by Polly’s Little Angels is not intended to replace or substitute medical advice.

• The Client acknowledges that Polly’s Little Angels will not be responsible nor liable in any event of injury or adverse events occurring while undertaking a sleep plan. The client is responsible for the safety and health of their child at all times.

• The website may contain links to other websites that are owned and operated by third-party vendors and other third parties (the "External Sites"). You acknowledge that Polly’s Little Angels is not responsible for the availability of, or the content located on or through, any External Site. You should contact the website administrator or Webmaster for those External Sites if you have any concerns regarding such links or the content located on such External Sites.

Payment

• Full payment for all packages and follow-up support is required prior to the consultation starting. Once payment is received in full the Client will receive an acknowledgement of payment by Polly’s Little Angels. The material will be written, delivered and phone consultations will be confirmed only once payment has been made.

• Package prices include VAT.

• Payments will be made directly through this website.

• Making the payment through this website signifies a binding contract between the Client and Polly's Little Angels and that the Client has agreed to these terms of service.

• Polly’s Little Angels reserve the right to alter prices at any time for any reason.

• A sleep plan will not be issued, or a consultation will not take place with an outstanding payment remaining. Polly’s Little Angels reserve the right to cancel a consultation if there is an outstanding balance owing at the time of the scheduled consultation.

• Any outstanding debt to Polly’s Little Angels will be referred to debt collection agencies.

Cancellations

• Cancellations made more than 5 working days prior to the consultation will receive a full refund, less the transaction fees.

• Cancellations made less than 5 working days prior to the consultation will receive a 50% refund, less the transaction fees.

• Cancellations within 48 hours of the proposed consultation endure no refund for change of mind. In the occurrence of sickness or critical events, Polly’s Little Angels can reschedule the consultation and cater accordingly.

• Once the sleep plan has been received or a consultation has taken place, there will be no refund offered for change of mind.

• Polly’s Little Angels reserve the right to cancel any package prior to the commencement of the home or phone consultation if they deem the package inappropriate for the Client. An alternative package may be suggested, and the price difference refunded, or the full amount refunded if Polly’s Little Angels or the Client chooses to forfeit the service engaged.

 

Packages and Follow-up Support

• The Basic (1-week) Support Package contains daily support via sleep logs and one (1) 20-minute phone call for additional support. Once the support ends The Client then gains access to the Member's Lounge for the period of one (1) month.

• The Sleeping Angel (3-week support) package contains daily support via sleep logs, plus 6 x 20-minute phone calls for additional support. Once the support ends The Client then gains access to the Member's Lounge for the period of one (1) month.

• The Newborn package runs for one (1) month and contains 2 x 30-minute phone calls for additional support. 

• An additional week of support is available for clients who wish for more time once the chosen package has ended. One week of follow-up support is €85 and consists of 2 x 20-minute phone calls. This package cannot be bought on its own and it does not include access to the Member's Lounge.

• The 45-min Mini Consult consists of only the 45-minute consultation and an email covering what was said during the consultation. This service does not have follow-up support.

• Access to the Member's Lounge is only for Clients that have purchased Polly's Little Algels' services. If you wish to remain in the Lounge after your month's access is up you can do so by making a monthly payment of €12.99.

Please note: The additional week of support can be added to the Basic Package and the Sleepy Angel Package if The Client feels they need more time at the end of the package. However, The Client cannot upgrade to the Sleepy Angel Package from the Basic Package once the package has been paid for and used.

Conditions of a Sleep Plan

• Individual results may vary, and results depend on many matters; including but not limited to, consistency, commitment, personal matters, approach to technique, technique or method, child’s needs, child’s age, the severity of the situation, following the plan correctly, communication to Polly’s Little Angels and the parents’ desire for change.

• A refund is not offered in the event of the client feeling dissatisfied and the client understands that by embarking on the plan that this is a risk taken.

• Most clients will start seeing positive changes within 7 days.

• Polly’s Little Angels are obligated to keep up to date with current information, research and knowledge surrounding child’s sleep.

• The client understands that their customised sleep plan is meant for their child only, and should not be shared with a third party, and acknowledges the information might not be suitable for another child.

• Any changes the client makes to their children’s sleeping or eating arrangements are their decision and Polly’s Little Angels will only make suggestions for change, of which they are responsible for choosing to implement.

• It is my (client's) responsibility to contact Polly’s Little Angels for my follow-up and send the sleep log information through to be assessed for feedback as frequently as suggested.

• Upon purchase of a sleep plan, I (the client) am agreeing to these terms and conditions and the privacy policy as outlined.

• Unless otherwise asked by the client the default language the plan will be written in will be English, but the client may ask Polly's Little Angels for the plan to be written in Portuguese.

 

 

Disclaimer

• Polly’s Little Angels adhere to and follow all WHO breastfeeding guidelines.

• Polly’s Little Angels adhere to and follow all the American Academy of Paediatrics safe sleeping guidelines.

• Polly’s Little Angels do not offer any medical advice, services, or treatment to any client. If you have concerns relating to a medical or nutritional issue, we urge you to contact your GP or paediatrician immediately.

• Polly’s Little Angels are fully covered with professional indemnity insurance and BGI.uk insurance.

• Changes to your baby's sleep or eating arrangements that may be suggested are at your discretion, of which you are responsible for choosing to implement.

• The information provided by Polly’s Little Angels is not intended nor implied to be a substitute for professional medical advice. The Client must always seek the advice of a GP or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding a medical condition or the health and welfare of their baby, toddler, or child.​

• Polly’s Little Angels will use all reasonable efforts to include up-to-date and accurate information during consultations and on this website, but makes no representations, warranties or completeness of the information provided. ​

• Polly’s Little Angels shall not be liable for any loss or damages (including direct or indirect loss, or special or consequential loss) resulting from the Client's access to, or inability to access, this website, or from the Client's reliance on any information provided on this website or by the consultant.

• This website or Polly’s Little Angels may provide links or references to other sites, but Polly’s Little Angels will have no responsibility for the content of such other sites or references and shall not be liable for any damages or injury arising from their content. Any links to other sites or references are provided as merely a convenience to the users and clients.

​Confidentiality and Privacy Policy

• I (the client) acknowledge that Polly’s Little Angels will uphold my case in confidentiality and discretion.

• I (the client) confirm that I will not share my child’s sleep plan or its content with any third party without Polly’s Little Angels' permission to do so. By sharing the plan, it may not be in the third party’s best interest for the child as these plans are customised to each child’s needs.

• I (the client) confirm that I will not share any of the handouts or their content with any third party without Polly’s Little Angels' permission to do so.

 

Information we collect

• Polly’s Little Angels will collect typical personal information including name, phone number, and email address.

• Polly’s Little Angels will use your personal information to create an online registration for you, to record and process your package for general communication. Polly’s Little Angels do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

 

Emailing tools

• Polly’s Little Angels will communicate with you by email and may send you Newsletters and other marketing information.
